Lovers - Tenel Ka, Jacen Soloby ~saith100

This is yet another Legacy era Star Wars fan art but this time I tryied a new graphic approach (less realistic, but with a more original style, I hope…), and I decided to put my characters in situation rather than doing the usual promo picture like iconic image.
The two characters in question are two of my favorites from the Star Wars expanded universe and I triyed to do them as much justice as possible.

I put Queen mother Tenel Ka Djo in real queen outfit instead of that awfull lizard skin outfit they usually depict her with. Off course, I used official art as a reference for her face (particularly this one), but tryied to pretty her a bit (I think she looks too masculine on most of the art while she's supposed to look attractive as is requested from any major personality in the beauty obsessed culture of Hapes). In the process of prettying her I actually increased the already existing ressemblance with a famous actress you might have noticed

I also added freckles to her face and body to accentuate the red haired girl physique and added a beauty spot wich I think adds sexyness. The queenish attitude is of course intentional, she still can act proud with the arm she has left.
The other character is her secret lover Jacen Solo (son of Han and Leia) whom I have already depicted many times so I won't go on details about him (see reference picture).

The scene happens on Hapes and the background is inspired by the style usually associated with everything architectural depicted for this planet.

Now the rest is up to you guys ! I'll let you make your own interpretation of the scene and the characters' behaviour. I'll be interested in hearing what's everyone's guess is

She looks sad, and he looks like he's trying to either explain something so she isn't mad at him, or like he's tryin' to figure out what's wrong. I like it a lot. Great job.

Absolutely incredible. It's amazing how you managed to recreate their feelings and emotions so deeply. Especially the look in Tenel Ka's eyes. It is as she is hurt, betrayed, disappointed and in pain, but that cannot stop her from loving Jacen, because her love for him is true and strong. She has devoted to him completely and that is both her joy and her curse. She has chosen to live this way, to love him despite everything. Despite her pain.
